VGA 2010: Wat weten we zover?
12 December aanstaande is de jaarlijkse Spike’s Video Game Awards. Behalve dat er games een award zullen krijgen is de show meest beroemd omdat er ook altijd nieuwe games aangekondigd worden. Uncharted 2 maakte zijn debut ook namelijk daar. Tot nu toe zijn er dertien titels aangekondigd waarvan we van zes weten die getoond zullen worden -Batman: Arkham City -Resistance 3 -Thor: The God of Thunder -Guillermo Del Toro’s video game -Bioware’s nieuwe game -en een speciale “Gears of War” aankondiging Dan blijven er nog zeven titels over, Prototype 2 is al min of meer aangekondigd door de recente teasers die we konden zien. We weten bijna zeker dat Uncharted 3 een opwachtiging zal maken, en er zou tevens ook een nieuwe PS3™ exclusive aangekondigd worden. Microsoft zal waarschijnlijk ook een nieuwe game gaan aankondigen, dus wat zijn die andere games? Wat denken jullie?
PlayStation Move en GT5 winnen GamesCom awards
Vandaag heeft de PlayStation move zijn eerste overwinning behaald in de motion control ‘oorlog’. Een vakjury heeft namelijk de Move als winnaar gekozen in de categorie “Hardware Accessoires”. Gran Turismo 5 heeft maar liefst 2 prijzen in de wacht gesleept. De andere winnaars zijn helaas nog niet bekend maar wanneer wij dit weten zullen we dit artikel updaten. Met meer dan 200 game premieres (dubbel zoveel als vorig jaar) heeft de GamesCom organisatie een nominatie lijst samengesteld in diverse categorieen om een felbegeerde trophy award te winnen. Uncharted2 wint 5 prijzen tijdens GDC awards
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was de grote winnaar tijdens de Game Developers Choice awards. Uncharted2 heeft zelfs de titel Game of the Year gewonnen.
